Connectivity & messaging issues

Duplicate messages should no longer be sending. This is an all-clear! Thank you for your patience.
Everyone should be able to connect to Slack now.

Some users may still be seeing duplicate messages getting sent – we're looking into this and will provide updates as soon as possible.
We've made a few tweaks on our end, and things are improving. Thanks for sticking with us. We'll have an all-clear for you as soon as possible.
Some people are currently unable to connect to Slack, and duplicate messages are being sent. Our sincere apologies. We're currently investigating and making fixes. Thank you for your patience.

Connection & messaging issues for some teams

Things should be back to normal now. Thank you so much for your patience!

You may still see duplicate Slackbot messages that are "only visible to you". Our team is addressing this and the issue should be resolved soon.

We're investigating what caused this problem. You may wish to delete any of your duplicate messages, if permitted in your workspace. Here's how:
Things are looking up: people are able to reconnect, and we are no longer sending duplicate messages/notifications. We'll continue to monitor and post a final all-clear as soon as possible. Thanks!
Some users cannot connect to the Slack app, and for those who can, some people are receiving duplicate messages and notifications.

Connection problems for some teams

We've been monitoring the connection issues and believe all affected teams should be back online once more. If you are still experiencing any connection problems do let us know. We truly appreciate your patience through this and apologize for any disruption to your day.

Connectivity problems and performance issues

Okay, it looks as though we're back to normal. Rest assured we'll be digging into causes, effects, and the whole shebang. Once again, we're so sorry for any trouble caused. Thank you.
There's good news and bad news. The good: right now you're less likely to be seeing issues. The bad: we're by no means out of the woods and can't yet rule out further trouble. But we're working hard to bring things back to normal. Sorry again, everyone.

We're investigating a number of reports of difficulty in connecting to Slack. Other features such as message unfurling and emoji reactions may be affected. We're investigating the cause and scope as we speak. Many apologies for the trouble here.

Connection problems for some teams

We experienced a failure between one of our WebSocket regions and the main Slack, however the good news is that we've now made sure everyone is reconnected elsewhere. Thanks for your patience while we sorted that out!

Slowdown in service

Thanks so much for bearing with us. The issue is resolved and connectivity and features should be back to normal.
Thanks again for your patience as we continue to work to get things back to normal. We're on track to have all features working properly again soon.
New connections look to be back to normal, meaning you should be able to connect to Slack successfully.

However, we're still seeing slowness with other features like URL previews and message editing. Thanks for your patience as we work through this.
We're investigating reports of slowness in Slack apps. Some might notice frequency disconnects or intermittent slowness when using the app.

We're terribly sorry for the trouble, but we hope to identify and fix the issue shortly.
