On August 9th between 10:54 am PST and 11:55am PST, we received reports that users were unable to connect to Slack after a small change to the web application. This caused intermittent connectivity issues with users. The change was reverted and users are able to connect again. We’re investigating the root cause, as well as making plans to ensure this doesn’t happen in the future.
10:54 AM PST
We're pleased to report that the issues with connectivity have been resolved. Folks are now able to connect to their workspaces once again without trouble. Apologies about the disruption to your day.
11:55 AM PST
We are looking into some connectivity issues that are impacting the ability to access Slack. We're sorry for the interruption and are working to resolve this as quickly as we can.

Between July 3rd at 11:00amPT and August 9th at 11:08pmPT, an issue with file authentication tokens prevented file uploads from our Slack exports from being imported successfully. Our engineers have deployed a fix to rectify the export issues — you may need to re-run exports and imports completed between July 3rd and August 9th to successfully view files. Our team is putting measures in place to ensure this does not happen in the future.
10:10 AM PST
We've fixed an issue that was preventing file uploads from our Slack exports from being imported successfully.
If you've been affected by this issue, you will need to perform a fresh export and import again for your file uploads to come through successfully. Please reach out to us at email@example.com if you have any questions.
11:20 PM PST
We have identified the issue and have deployed a potential fix. We're not quite in the clear, but we're working towards it.
11:03 PM PST
Our investigations indicate that the issue lies with files in recent exports, rather than file processing in imports. We are still digging into the problem and our investigation is ongoing. Thank you for your patience while we work on this.
10:33 PM PST
