On January 4th at 1:59 pm PT, we changed a feature flag that would make uploads faster and more reliable for customers using iOS, specifically for those outside North America. After some investigation, it was determined that some iOS customers were not correctly switching over to the new functionality. This caused some users to experience failures when trying to uploads files on iOS.
We deployed a change to fix the issue, and customers were able to successfully upload files again on their iOS devices as of January 6th, at 8:34 pm PT.
Thanks for your patience as we worked through the issue. We’re making plans to ensure this doesn’t happen in the future.
