Incident

Users unable to delete and convert channels

Issue Summary:

On March 18th from 12:22pm PDT, attempts to convert public channels to private were failing for all workspaces. Additionally, attempts to delete these channels also failed. We identified the cause and a fix was deployed at 2:10pm PDT to convert the affected channels to private. After further monitoring, we called the all clear on March 18th at 6:08pm PDT. We’re investigating the root cause, as well as making plans to ensure this doesn’t happen in the future.
