Issue Summary:

On May 14, 2019 at approximately 2:07 p.m. PDT a change was made to the archive channel functionality. This change caused non-archived channels to appear as archived incorrectly. We investigated this with our team, discovered the problem, and resolved the issue at 12:16 a.m. PDT on May 15.

We’ve made some changes and archiving channels should now work correctly once more. If you continue to have problems after refreshing your app (Cmd or Ctrl + R) please let us know at feedback@slack.com. Apologies for that disruption to your day.

We’re seeing issues with archiving channels whereby non-archived channels are showing as archived. We’re working to get this rectified. In the meantime, refreshing the app (Cmd or Ctrl + R) should help clear this archive message from the channel view.
