On July 16, 2019, at 1:56 p.m. PDT, we began a rollout of a new Google API Client. On July 17, we started receiving reports of various problems with Google Calendar and Google Drive integrations, including issues with authenticating and calendar events not displaying. Investigations began at 7:39 a.m., and we worked to identify and address each issue individually.
On July 19 at 12:00 p.m., the last fix was pushed out and we continued to monitor the situation. Some customers reported that they were still running into 500 errors in the Google Calendar app and we made a change to prevent this from happening.
Finally, we restored any calendar connections that had been lost. This was completed on July 26, at 4:11 p.m., and we declared the issue fully resolved.

We believe we have identified and fixed the issue affecting the Google integrations. If you're still not receiving notifications from "Google Calendar for Team Events" please try re-saving your integration configuration — which should get things running again. Some customers may still be having problems with the Google Drive and Google Calendar Slack apps. We had thought this was fixed but it looks like we spoke too soon. We'll update here as soon as it's fully patched. Again, we appreciate your patience.

We believe we mitigated most of the issues with Google authentication in Slack apps but we're not completely out of the woods. We're continuing work to restore full functionality.
