Connection issues for desktop app v 3.2.0 and older

On July 26, 2019, at 2:05 p.m. PDT, we received reports that some users were unable to connect to Slack. Upon investigation, we learned that our latest code change was incompatible with the desktop app versions 3.2.0 or older. The result was that users trying to connect to Slack using these older apps were unable to do so. We identified the problem and reverted this code change. The issue was fully resolved by 3.42 p.m. PDT.
