Some customers are unable to load new messages or their channel sidebar

Issue Summary:

On July 2, 2019 at 6:39 p.m. PDT, we received reports of messages and the channel sidebar not loading for some customers. We launched an investigation and by July 2 at 11:01 p.m. PDT, all customers were able to correctly connect and the issue was resolved.

We've been monitoring things and believe everyone should be able to see their messages and channel sidebar information once more. If you're still experiencing issues please let us know at feedback@slack.com. Thanks for sticking with us through that.

We're still trying to pin down the root cause of the issues with loading news messages and channel sidebar information. We'll keep you posted.
