Customers unable to access context menu on Admin page under certain resolutions.

Issue Summary:

On August 20, 2019, beginning at 5:22 p.m. PDT, some customers reported not being able to access the context menu on the Admin page. After some investigation, it was discovered that a change to the padding and layout of the Admin page meant some customers had trouble accessing the context menu on this page under certain resolutions.

By 10:35 p.m. PDT, the issue was resolved for all resolutions and customers were able to access the context menu again.

Some people may be having issues with accessing the context menu on their Admin page under certain resolutions. We’re working on getting this sorted swiftly.

In the meantime, you should be able to work around this by adjusting the window size to smaller than 1473px by using the keyboard shortcut Cmd/Ctrl and "-" or larger than 1580px with the keyboard shortcut Cmd/Ctrl and "+".

Problems with Search and the Workspace Admin Dashboard

Issue Summary:

On August 20, 2019, beginning at 4:30 a.m. PDT, some customers started to experience degraded search functionality. It was then discovered that an internal script making administrative changes was causing pressure on one of our processes that relates to the search feature. Once this was discovered, this internal script was turned off and the process was restarted which resulted in search being fully restored by 7:04 a.m. PDT.

Customers affected by intermittent failures when searching should no longer be having trouble. We've rolled out a fix and have confirmed that Search is back to normal. Sorry for the hassle while we sorted this out.

We are continuing to monitor issues with Search and the Admin page for Enterprise Grid workspaces. We are looking into possible solutions and will share an update shortly.

Users are facing intermittent failures when searching for members and channels in their workspace. Additionally, the same root cause is resulting in member changes not reflecting on the Admin page for Enterprise Grid workspaces.

Problems with Search

Issue Summary:

On August 20, 2019, starting at 2:25 a.m. PDT, we began encountering issues with how we store some language-specific content in search. The issues caused some search queries to fail for some customers. To resolve the issue, we identified a problematic indexing process and restarted it. Search was fully recovered by 4:12 a.m. PDT.

While search is now returning results successfully, it is worth noting that new messages will not be shown in these results. We are continuing to work on improvements.
