Some customers cannot create channels that contain a dash or an underscore in the name
Issue Summary:
On August 28, 2019 at 10:01 a.m. PDT a change was released which unexpectedly prevented some customers from being able to create channels. Specifically, if the channel name included a hyphen or underscore.
An update was made to ensure channel names with such characters were validated correctly, and by August 29 at 12:33 p.m. PDT channel creation was functioning as expected once again.

Some users may be having trouble loading Slack or using certain features
Issue Summary:
Due to an upstream provider removing an IP address from service, some customers were unable to upload files and connect to Slack. We requested customers flush their DNS cache in order to purge the IP address. Please reach out to feedback@slack.com if you’re having any trouble uploading files or connecting to Slack.

We've discovered that an incorrect IP address for one of our servers was cached by some ISPs and customers' machines. We have received several confirmations that flushing DNS resolves the issue. Let us know at feedback@slack.com if that's not the case, and we'd be happy to have a look.

Folks have reported that flushing DNS cache has resolved the file upload issue some of you have experienced; however, please let us know at feedback@slack.com if that’s not the case.
