On August 20, 2019, beginning at 4:30 a.m. PDT, some customers started to experience degraded search functionality. It was then discovered that an internal script making administrative changes was causing pressure on one of our processes that relates to the search feature. Once this was discovered, this internal script was turned off and the process was restarted which resulted in search being fully restored by 7:04 a.m. PDT.

Customers affected by intermittent failures when searching should no longer be having trouble. We've rolled out a fix and have confirmed that Search is back to normal. Sorry for the hassle while we sorted this out.

We are continuing to monitor issues with Search and the Admin page for Enterprise Grid workspaces. We are looking into possible solutions and will share an update shortly.

Users are facing intermittent failures when searching for members and channels in their workspace. Additionally, the same root cause is resulting in member changes not reflecting on the Admin page for Enterprise Grid workspaces.
