Incident

Some customers using Safari (v10.1) are unable to load Slack

Issue Summary:

On November 13, 2019 at 5:07 p.m. PST, we discovered that some customers using Safari were unable to load their Slack workspaces. This issue was caused by a code change that we made earlier in the day, preventing Slack from loading successfully in Safari versions 10.1.1 and 10.1.2. We started reverting this code change at 6:12 p.m. PST and determined this resolved the issue for all customers by 6:58 p.m. PST.

8:53 PM PST

For all those using Safari (version 10.1), we're happy to report that you can connect to Slack again by refreshing your web browser with Command+R. We apologize for keeping you away from your workspace.

7:09 PM PST

Some of our customers are having trouble with loading Slack in Safari (version 10.1). We're currently looking into the cause, and we'll keep you posted as soon as we have more information to share. We're sorry for the disruption.
