Email Delivery may be delayed

Issue Summary:

On 25 December, 2019 at 2:11 p.m. PST, we started experiencing connection timeout failures with our mail service provider. Our servers attempted to switch to a backup option but soon encountered rate limits, which resulted in emails continuing to be delayed.

Service started resuming at 4:35 p.m PST as the errors cleared up. We're continuing to follow up with our service provider on the cause of the issue, and have increased quotas for our backup configuration to prevent this from happening again.

Email delivery is back to normal, and any delayed emails should be coming through now. We really appreciate your patience and our team is continuing work to ensure this doesn't happen again.
