Images are not displaying on mobile

Issue Summary:

On January 13, 2019 from 10:57 a.m. PST, customers began experiencing issues with viewing and downloading images uploaded in Slack. Upon investigating, we determined that a change that we made impacted authentication mechanisms, which resulted in customers being incorrectly redirected when trying to load images in our mobile app or when downloading images via our API. After we reverted this change, we determined that the issue was completely resolved at 3:42 p.m. PST.

We have released a fix and things are now running smoothly. Customers experiencing issues viewing images or using our API to download files should see things working once again. If you are still having any trouble, please reset your mobile app's cache under Settings > Advanced > Reset Cache. We apologize again for any inconvenience this caused.
