Incident

Some Enterprise Grid customers are having trouble adding members to channels

Issue Summary:

On February 12, 2020 at 5:05 p.m. PST until February 14, 2020 at 11:13 a.m. PST, some customers were unable to invite members to channels. In particular, this affected customers on Enterprise Grid workspaces where no default channels had been set. This issue was caused by a change that we deployed, and after we reverted this change, affected customers were able to invite members to channels once again. We determined the issue was resolved on February 14, 2020 at 12:09 p.m. PST.

6:33 PM PST

We're pleased to report we've fixed this issue, and all customers should be able to add other members to channels using the 'Add people' or 'Add people to channel' buttons once again. We're sorry for any disruption caused in the meantime.

12:32 PM PST

Some of our customers are unable to add members to channels through the 'Add people' or 'Add people to channel' buttons. This seems to be affecting our Enterprise Grid customers specifically. We're currently investigating but in the meantime, people can add members to a channel using the /invite command. If you are seeing any issues with this feature currently, please write in to feedback@slack.com so we can look into this further.
