Some customers in India may be unable to connect to Slack

Issue Summary:

On March 17, 2020 at 6:54 a.m. PDT we started receiving reports from customers in India that they were unable to connect to Slack. We investigated the problem and determined it was an issue on the side of an ISP. Our hosting providers implemented measures to reroute traffic and mitigate the problem. The issue was fully resolved on March 18, 2020 at 4:03 a.m. PDT.

The issues some Slack users in India have been running into are resolved now. You should be able to connect again. We apologize for the earlier trouble.

We narrowed down the current connectivity issues in India to a specific ISP. We're making adjustments together with our hosting provider to mitigate the problem.

At the moment, it looks like this issue is affecting some customers in India. We are still digging into the cause. We'll be back with more information soon.
