Slack is not loading for some users

Issue Summary:

On March 6, 2020 at 5:13 a.m. PST we rolled out a front-end change to a select group of people. A bug in the code caused the Slack desktop client to be unable to launch for those users. We fixed the problem and restored full functionality at 9:52 p.m. PST.

We’ve deployed a fix and the issue has been cleared. We’re sorry for the disruption we brought to your day.

We believe we identified the cause of the issue and we’re working on getting a fix out as soon as possible. We’ll be back with another update soon.
