We believe we've resolved the issue with messages failing to send or disappearing. If you were previously experiencing this, a hard reload of Slack (Shift + Cmd/Ctrl + R) should now address this. If you're still having problems after refreshing, please don't hesitate to write us at feedback@slack.com.
