Some new messages are not appearing on Android
Issue summary:
On May 11, 2020, we began investigating cases of Android users missing new messages in the mobile app. After more reports trickled in, we escalated the issue further on our side on June 1, 2020.
We pushed out several changes to the mobile app to help mitigate the issue, and we believe the majority of users who were impacted are no longer encountering this trouble. However, we'll continue investigating any reports of users not seeing new messages in the mobile app.

Our engineers have narrowed down the issues that are causing some new messages to not appear in our Android app. While these issues are not fully resolved yet, going forward we'll continue working on this as a bug that we'll track internally. If you're still experiencing this behaviour, please reach out to us at feedback@slack.com.

Some Android users may notice that new messages are not showing up in channels and DMs immediately. We're actively investigating this issue and will keep you posted as more information becomes available. For now, quitting and reopening the Slack app should allow new messages to load. We're sorry for any disruption this brings to your day.
