On July 14, 2020 from 7:00 a.m. PDT until 9:34 a.m. PDT, members of workspaces with Enterprise Key Management (EKM) enabled may have experienced delays when completing certain actions in Slack, including loading channel histories and sending messages.
We began investigating this issue at 9:14 a.m. PDT and determined that an increase to the percentage of traffic going through our recently upgraded infrastructure for our EKM feature caused requests to back up and API calls to fail. We reverted all EKM traffic back to our legacy infrastructure, resolving the issue for all affected users.

We received reports that API requests were failing for some users in Enterprise Orgs with Enterprise Key Management (EKM). Our team investigated and they were able to quickly identify and resolve the issue. API requests are now sending successfully and everything is back to normal.
