From July 24, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. PDT until July 26, 2020 at 9:03 a.m. PDT, some customers may have been unable to create new channels. As we looked into it further, we traced the problem to a recent update that added more logging around the channel creation process. Reverting the update fixed the issue for all affected customers.

The issues around creating new channels should be resolved now. If you're still encountering any issues, please try reloading Slack twice (Command/Control + R). If that doesn't do the trick, let us know at email@example.com.
