Customers may have been logged out on desktop

Incident Summary:

On August 20, 2020 at 9:02 a.m. PDT, some customers began being unexpectedly signed out of Slack on desktop after updating Slack to a newer version. By August 24, 2020 at 4:50 p.m. PDT, reports of this issue subsided without us taking any remediation steps. We are continuing to investigate the root cause of this issue to prevent it from happening in the future.
