From September 11, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. PDT, Enterprise Grid customers were unable to approve shared channel invitations when inviting an external workspace to a channel within their org.
A problem with the event logging during the approval flow introduced an issue preventing Grid customers from approving shared channel invitations. This may have manifested as a silent failure or in an error message. We reverted the change that introduced this problem and resolved the issue at 5:07 p.m. PDT.

Enterprise Grid customers are unable to approve shared channel invitations when inviting an external workspace to a channel within their org. Paid customers who are not on Enterprise Grid can approve shared channel invitations.
If a paid customer invites an Enterprise Grid org to a shared channel, the org can accept the invitation.
