Incident
Some apps and browsers are failing to connect
Issue summary:
On September 22, 2020 from 12:01 p.m. to 1:31 p.m. PDT, some users couldn't connect on desktop and received the error message "Something's gone awry, and Slack isn't loading" when attempting to load their workspaces.
After launching an investigation, we found that a recent name change in our code had unintended consequences that caused the issue. We rolled back the change, and the issue was resolved for all affected users.
