Some users are unable to connect

Issue summary:
On September 9, 2020 from 3:18 p.m. to 3:38 p.m. PDT, some users were unable to connect to Slack.

An unexpected surge in traffic caused one of our databases to be overwhelmed, and users connecting to the database were then unable to access Slack. We switched over to another database to resolve the issue for affected users.
