On October 12, 2020 at 2:20 p.m. PDT, some customers experienced issues with the 'Allow threads' option for channels. This resulted in message posting being restricted to Admins only.
After a thorough investigation, we traced the cause to a recent change in our application that did not respect the 'Allow threads' functionality. We reverted the change and confirmed the issue was resolved on October 14, 2020 at 2:34 p.m. PDT.

We’re nearing a fix for this issue. Functionality is almost back to normal, but we’re still working towards a full resolution. We’ll be back with another update as soon as we can confirm the issue is resolved.

This issue is isolated to our desktop applications and browsers. Mobile applications are unaffected.
