Incident

Trouble deactivating Do Not Disturb

Issue summary:
On November 16, 2020 from 1:58 p.m. to 7:26 p.m. PST, customers may have been unable to deactivate the Do Not Disturb feature on both mobile and desktop.

We rolled back the code change that inadvertently caused this issue, restoring normal behaviour and allowing everyone to deactivate Do Not Disturb.

8:58 PM PST

We have resolved the issue with Do Not Disturb and everything should be running smoothly once more. Please refresh Slack to see the change.

On desktop, open Slack and press Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + O.

On mobile, quit Slack and remove it from your recently opened apps, then relaunch the app.

Thank you for your patience as we dug into this, we very much appreciate it.

7:40 PM PST

Customers may not be able to deactivate the Do Not Disturb feature at the moment. We're very sorry for the disruption and we are working to investigate. We will be back with an update as soon as we have news to share.
