Incident

Older versions of the Slack app and web browsers are having trouble connecting

Issue summary:
On December 23, 2020 at 07:35 a.m. PST, a change to our calls feature caused some users on older clients to experience issues loading Slack.

While users who updated to a recent client release were immediately able to successfully load Slack, we reversed the update that caused this. By 10:27 a.m. PST, full functionality was restored to the affected clients.
