Follow threads button may not be working for some users
Issue summary:
From January 14, 2021 at 3:38 p.m. PST until January 15, 2021 at 6:13 a.m. PST, some customers were unable to manually follow messages by using the "Follow message" button. Specifically, this issue occurred when trying to follow messages without threaded replies already.
Upon investigation, we discovered that a recent code change unintentionally caused the issue. We've since reverted the change.

We've released a fix and our "follow thread" button is back to normal. Impacted customers should be able to get things working again by using Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+R to reload the app. We're sorry for the hassle while we sorted this out and thank you for your patience.
