A small percentage of users may be having trouble connecting to or using Slack
Issue summary:
On January 19, 2021 from around 7:54 a.m to 9:15 a.m PST, a small percentage of users experienced trouble connecting and/or degraded performance in Slack.
This issue was a result of too many requests being sent to a set of servers. We implemented a set of fixes to resolve the trouble for affected users.
We recognize this summary has been posted after the 24 hour mark, and we appreciate your patience while we worked to understand more about the issue and user impact.

We’ve rolled out a fix and customers should no longer be noticing issues with Slack. Thank you for your patience while we sorted this out. We'll be following up with an issue summary within the next 24 hours.

Functionality is almost back to normal, but we’re still working towards a full resolution. We’ll be back with another update once things have been fully restored.
