Issue summary:
On January 31, 2021 from around 1:48 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. PST, some users encountered degraded service, such as messages failing to send and the Threads and Mentions & reactions tabs failing to load.

Part of our infrastructure was unable to perform its typical operations due to what appeared to be hardware trouble. This also prevented the affected infrastructure from automatically being replaced. We intervened and manually made changes to complete the replacement and resolve the issue.
