A small number of users encountering slowness and / or server errors

Issue summary:
On February 9, 2021 from around 3:51 a.m. to 4:33 a.m. PST, a small number of users encountered trouble when using Slack. This included actions in Slack being slow to complete and / or encountering a "Server Error" when attempting to access their accounts.

We addressed an issue within part of our infrastructure that was causing some requests to be slow to complete or fail altogether to resolve the issue.

Note: We've updated the title here to be more specific.

5:10 AM PST

Customers affected by the general degraded performance of Slack earlier, should no longer be having trouble. We’ve rolled out a fix and confirmed Slack is back to normal. Sorry for the hassle while we sorted this out.
