Some customers are seeing errors when attempting to import files from Google Drive

Issue summary:
On February 16, 2021 from 1:45 p.m. to 4:19 p.m. PST, a number of customers had trouble importing / uploading Google Drive files.

Our team determined a recent change impacted our Slack integration for Google Drive, which resulted in customers receiving error messages whenever they attempted to import or upload files.

The change was reverted and functionality was restored for all customers by 4:19 p.m. PST.

Trouble with signing in, loading messages, and accessing channels

Issue summary:
On February 16, 2021 from 11:40 a.m. to 12:36 p.m. PST, a small number of customers may have had trouble signing in, loading messages, and accessing channels within Slack.

Our team determined that a background data maintenance task did not throttle itself properly, resulting in replication lag that affected Slack's performance for impacted customers.

We rolled out a fix which resolved the issue and by 12:36 p.m. PST, Slack was working as normal again for all affected users.
