On February 16, 2021 from 11:40 a.m. to 12:36 p.m. PST, a small number of customers may have had trouble signing in, loading messages, and accessing channels within Slack.
Our team determined that a background data maintenance task did not throttle itself properly, resulting in replication lag that affected Slack's performance for impacted customers.
We rolled out a fix which resolved the issue and by 12:36 p.m. PST, Slack was working as normal again for all affected users.
