Trouble with search function using double quotation marks in Mac app

Issue summary:
From March 16, 2021 at 10:37 p.m. PDT until March 17, 2021 at 6:32 a.m. PDT, some Mac desktop app users may have experienced search not performing any action when attempting to use the quotation mark modifier.

We traced the problem to a recent update that resolved a previous quoted search issue earlier in the week. We've reverted that update and implemented a fix that resolved both issues.

If you're still affected, please reload Slack with Command + Shift + R as that should resolve the issue for you.

8:43 AM PST

We've resolved the issue, and Mac desktop app users should be able to search using quotation mark modifiers again. If you're still affected, please reload Slack with Command + Shift + R.

6:59 AM PST

Search functionality is currently not working when trying to search in the Slack Mac desktop app using double quotation marks. Search in a web browser is currently working as expected. We're very sorry for the disruption, and we're working to resolve this as fast as we can. Thank you for bearing with us.
