On April 12, 2021 at 9:31 a.m. PDT, we began investigating reports that customers using the latest version of our iOS app were unable to mark messages and channels as read.
By April 13, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. PDT, we determined that this was not a widespread issue. We have plans to deploy a fix in the near future, and we will investigate reports individually moving forward.

While customers may still be impacted, our team has narrowed down the issue and we'll continue to work on it as a high priority bug. Some customers using the latest version of our iOS app are seeing their messages remain marked as unread and the channels bolded even after reading the channel and navigating away. Our team are currently investigating and we'll be back with any updates as they happen.
