On July 21, 2021 around 6:00 to 7:35 a.m. PDT, some users may have experienced trouble searching for channels and people, and while searching in the admin dashboard and App Directory. For example, search results may have been incomplete.
While we're still investigating the root cause, we restarted servers to aid in the resolution, and adjusted configurations within our infrastructure to mitigate recurrence.

On July 21, 2021 around 5:26 a.m. to 5:46 a.m. PDT, customers may have encountered trouble accessing files in some areas of the product. Additionally, some search and file web API methods weren't working as expected.
This trouble was similar to what occurred July 20, 2021, but a smaller percentage of customers were affected.
Part of our infrastructure encountered errors, so all requests couldn't be serviced. We restarted some of our servers, and replaced the infrastructure that encountered errors.
