On August 12, 2021 between 6:21 a.m and 6:44 a.m PDT a small number of users experienced slow performance and trouble connecting to Slack from a drop in the webapp connection success rate due to an issue with an upstream provider. This provider resolved the issues and Slack was restored to normal for all affected users.
