Incident
Users may be seeing an error that Slack has stopped responding

Issue summary: On August 5, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:10 p.m. PDT, Slack may have become unresponsive for customers accessing channels to which an email link had been posted. A planned change inadvertently caused issues with email links, and Slack became caught in a loop while trying to render these links. This manifested as a "Slack stopped responding" popup. We reverted the change, resolving the issue for all affected users.
