High Filtering On SMS Towards the AT&T Network In United States

Issue summary:
On October 27, 2021 from around 5:47 a.m. to 2:24 p.m. PDT, some users may have experienced difficulties receiving two-factor authentication (2FA) codes from our SMS service provider, preventing them from signing into Slack.

We monitored the situation until the problem was resolved and the affected users were able to receive the codes again.

The issue is now be resolved and customers should receive 2FA codes normally.

Our SMS service provider is currently experiencing high filtering on SMS towards the AT&T network in the United States. We recommend using your backup codes, switching to an Authentication app, or reaching out to your Admins to temporarily disable 2FA for you.
