On November 11th, 2021 from around 4:00 p.m. to 8:35 p.m. PST, some customers may have noticed issues with the layout of the message input field. Specifically, the action icons might have been stacked rather than in a line.
We traced the issue to a recent change made to the design. We deployed a fix, resolving the issue for all affected customers.

We’re happy to report that customers should no longer see issues with the message input field after a hard reload of the desktop app (Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + R). Apologies for the disruption caused, and thank you for your patience.
