Trouble with files and other services

Issue summary:
From March 9, 2022 at 12:42 PM PST to 12:57 PM PST, some customers may have experienced issues with file uploads, Workflow Builder, and huddles.

This was the result of an issue with one of our service providers. Once the service provider resolved the problem, full functionality was restored to the affected Slack features.

Trouble with uploading files and other services

Issue summary:
From March 8, 2022 at 10:00 PM PST to March 9, 2022 at 8:57 AM PST, some customers may have experienced issues with a number of Slack features. This included file uploads, emoji reactions, Workflow Builder, calls and huddles, message edits, workspace invitations, app deletions, new team creation, and user status changes.

The job processing queues that handle requests made to Slack's services failed to process a subset of incoming jobs. Some requests were not placed in the queue as expected, leading to degraded performance for Slack features that rely on those requests.

We increased our capacity to process requests, allowing us to catch up on backlogged actions. This restored functionality to affected Slack features, and enabled us to process more incoming requests.

We are working hard to understand why this happened, and taking measures to ensure this doesn't happen again in future.
