From 11:40 AM PDT to 3:56 PM PDT on June 15th, 2022, some users may have encountered a broken image icon when attempting to open and view certain files in Slack, such as PDF and Excel files.
We made a change to our PDF viewer that caused issues with the way we handle requests to open these files. We corrected the problematic logic we had inadvertently introduced, and deployed a fix. The fix restored normal file behaviour for all customers.
