Some users may be experiencing connectivity issues.
On Tuesday November 29th from 10:32am PST to 2:07pm PST, customers in some regions began noticing connection issue with Slack.
An automation from an upstream DNS service accidentally blocked slack.com queries in a limited region (mostly the Northeast US).
After communication with the upstream provider, the issue was identified and corrected. Impacted users should have no further issues connecting to Slack.

After investigation, a small percentage of customers may be experiencing connectivity issues.
We have identified that this issue is with an upstream DNS provider. Impacted customers should reach out to their Internet Service Provider or IT Department for further guidance on their DNS settings.
