Issue summary: On January 24, 2023, from 5:50 AM to 9:30 AM PST, some customers experienced errors when opening threads and saw blank channels and direct message histories. We traced this issue to an unexpected spike in a database load. We made a configuration change that restored full functionality to threads and conversations for all impacted users. We are investigating ways to prevent this from occurring in the future. You may need to reload Slack (Command/Ctrl + Shift + R) in order for the fix to be reflected on your end. We're sorry for the disruption we brought to your day.

Workflows using 'Message thread' are failing for Japanese users.

Issue summary: From January 24, 2023 at 5:30 PM PST until January 24, 2023 at 10:20 PM PST, some customers who were using Slack in Japanese experienced a failure when using the "Send message to a thread" workflow step. We identified that this was caused by an earlier change we made to workflows and fixed the issue by reverting the earlier change.

Our engineering team implemented a fix for the issue which caused the workflow step "Send message to a thread" to stop working in the Japanese localization. Thank you so much for your patience as our team actively worked on this.
